The Australian Dodgeball Premier League (ADPL) is the official national league of Australian Dodgeball. The league launched in 2016 – with the inaugural season staged in Melbourne (Victoria Conference) at Aqualink Box Hill.

The ADPL expanded its competition in Victoria for the 2017 season, with the inclusion of three divisions – Men’s, Mixed and Women’s. Nationwide, the competition also saw the introduction a New South Wales Conference, based in Sydney at Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre in Riverwood.

For the first-time, there was an ADPL National Finals Series and a National DFA Cup competition at the conclusion of the state-based season in December, 2017.

There are further plans to expand the ADPL across Australia in the near future.

The ADPL provides the framework for Australia’s high performance domestic competition. Through the ADPL, the league is utlised to assist in scouting Australian national team players, while also playing an important role in the development of Australian domestic dodgeball.

ADPL Logo Representation:

The ADPL logo is a depiction of Australia’s rich sporting history, evidenced by our traditional green and gold colours. Noticeably, the logo has three stars, each representing a unique achievement in the formation of DFA’s high performance domestic structure.

  • First Star: Represents the winning club of your state’s Premier League Competition (EG: ADPL Victoria Champion in Men’s, Mixed and / or Women’s Divisions).
  • Second Star: Represents the winning club of the national ADPL Finals Series (Clubs at the conclusion of their state’s Premier League, will play-off for the national title.
  • Third Star: Represents the winning club of the national DFA Cup, Australia’s knockout style competition. Clubs qualify for the DFA Cup via their state cup competitions.

Following every five title wins in each competitions, clubs will be able to feature the star on their playing uniforms.
